8. SCHOOL MENTORSHIP PROGRAMS

We endeavour to provide psycho education to adolescents and foster both soft skills and life skills for development.

9. GUIDANCE AND COUNSELLING

This entails:

a) Education Guidance - to develop effective study habits, relating the curriculum to occupational groups.

b) Vocational/Career Guidance - to provide knowledge of occupations and of the narrow range of alternatives available, thereby eliminating the ignorance that leads to unrealistic career aspirations.

c) Health Guidance - relates to growth, maturity and general health issues. We guide students into appreciating basic personal care, be it physically, morally, or spiritually. This covers hygiene behaviours for a healthy body, including sexual health and sexually transmitted infections (STIs).

d) Civic Guidance - providing awareness of the dynamics of civic society. Helping children know their rights and responsibilities as members of civic society. They are helped to respect other people's right of existence, hence growing into responsible members of society.
